STEM: Shaping the Future
Is your curiosity fueled by creativity, innovation and an interest in technology? The STEM Division can offer you a path directly into a STEM career or a transfer path to a 4-year institution to allow you to capitalize on all your talents. The Division offers high-quality academic programming that meets the needs of the STEM major and general education and foundational courses for degree programs in other divisions. Courses are delivered by faculty dedicated to excellence in teaching and committed to student learning and success.
The STEM Division boasts state-of-the art facilities and equipment housed in three buildings. Faculty in the Applied Technology building welcome students of engineering science, computer science, mathematics, and electrical engineering technology programs. The STEM faculty in the Calice Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) building deliver programming for advanced manufacturing, mechanical and civil engineering technologies. The CAM building is also home to the Sustainability Sandbox and Food System and Production laboratories, which are interdisciplinary innovation hubs. The Natural Science Center (NSC) is home to biology, chemistry, physical and environmental sciences.

Transfer Options
Transfer to some colleges is guaranteed through a transfer agreement between SUNY Broome and the transfer institution.
