Dean of Students

The Dean of Students office is committed to helping all students at SUNY Broome be successful both in and out of the classroom. Through oversight of the offices of Counseling Services, Health Services, Supplemental Support Services, Student Rights & Responsibilities, Student Activities, and the B.C. Center, the Dean of Students works to promote a healthy, safe and respectful campus community; provide support and opportunities for students to reach their fullest potential; and monitor and respond to emerging situations that impact students. We also work with campus and community partners to support student success, cultivate a diverse and inclusive campus culture and encourage student self-advocacy.

The staff of the Dean of Students office works directly with students to assist them with concerns and connect them with appropriate resources. We are here to help campus community members navigate difficult issues and build a connected community for all Hornets.
