Statement of the Policy
The purpose of this policy is to affirm that the use and possession of alcoholic beverages are not permitted on any location operated by SUNY Broome Community College for employees, students, and visitors except for occasions expressly approved by the President’s Office. If an exception is granted, it is the responsibility of the group coordinating the event to ensure compliance and enforcement of laws and regulations associated with alcohol consumption.
Violation of laws, regulations, or policies regarding the use and possession of alcohol may lead to intervention by Campus Public Safety and disciplinary action.
