Prepares students for entry-level roles in clinical lab and healthcare settings. Learners develop foundational skills in lab safety, specimen collection/handling, basic testing procedures, lab information systems/electronic health records, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, communication, critical thinking, and professionalism. This microcredential supports career readiness in lab and phlebotomy roles and provides a strong path for entry into Clinical Lab Tech or Histology programs.

Note: Students enrolling in this microcredential must register for spring. The courses required for this microcredential are offered fall and spring, however, fall sections are reserved for Clinical Laboratory Technology students.
