As a Radiologic Technologist, you’ll be at the forefront of modern medicine—working with cutting-edge imaging technology and helping to shape the future of patient care. Medical imaging is one of the fastest-growing areas in health care, with demand for skilled technologists rising every year.
Radiologic Technology is both science and art. At SUNY Broome, you’ll study anatomy, biology, radiation safety, and physics, while also learning how to use advanced digital imaging systems and computer technology. Just as importantly, you’ll develop strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. In your clinical rotations, you’ll gain hands-on experience caring for patients and fine-tuning your technical expertise—learning to provide care that is not only accurate, but also compassionate.
Your career opportunities are limitless. Radiologic Technologists are needed in every health care setting, and the path you take depends on your interests and ambition.
