Participation

Each spring, hundreds of graduates, accompanied by thousands of friends and family, fill the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena to celebrate the successful finish of their SUNY Broome experience. It is a proud moment for our students, and for those who worked so closely with them. We encourage our faculty and staff to join us on Thursday, May 21 to honor their accomplishments.

The graduation processional will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena. The platform party will line up in full regalia at 5:45 p.m. on the ground level of the Arena.

Current faculty and staff are invited to march during the processional and recessional, and sit on stage as part of the platform party. Those who wish to participate must register using the Faculty/Staff Commencement RSVP form. Regalia is required for those participating in Commencement.

Regalia Rental

If you do not own your own regalia, regalia rentals will be available courtesy of the SUNY Broome Foundation.

Rental orders must be placed online through the Oak Hall ordering site. Please make sure to pick your rental up and return it in full to the SUNY Broome Bookstore after Commencement. Any regalia not picked up at the bookstore will be brought to the Arena and available for pickup on the evening of Commencement.
