The SUNY Broome Graduation Committee strives to host an inclusive, accessible Commencement ceremony that enables all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. To request an accessibility accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility at Commencement, please contact commencement@sunybroome.edu at least 2 weeks before the event.

Accessibility accommodations in place include:

• A wheelchair lift will be available to the stage.
• Section 14 in the Arena will be reserved for guests who are Deaf, hard of hearing, or visually impaired. A sign language interpreter will be positioned in front of Section 14.
• Limited accessible parking out front of the Arena.
• Accessible entrances and seating at the Arena for graduates, and guests.
• Live captions of the ceremony will displayed on the Arena video board and will be available at sunybroome.edu/gradcaptions.
