Definitions for Students

Non-matriculated
A student not enrolling in a degree program.
Matriculated
A student enrolling in a degree program.
Asynchronous Instruction
Direct Instruction Occurs online and not at a specified meeting time.
Synchronous Instruction
Direct Instruction takes place at a specified meeting time.
Blended Instruction
A hybrid of in-person and online instruction.
Hybrid Instruction
Students choose their method of instruction, asynchronous, synchronous, hybrid, face-to- face or a combination
