How Do I Upload My Images to a Blog? Uploading an Image to a BlogOnce you are inside a blog (either editing one or creating one) (see {Blog}), click the symbol that looks like mountains, a yellow sky and a brown sun (see image below). This will take you to the "Image Properties" screen (see first image below). You can paste in a URL to your image (either a URL to an image you've already uploaded onto your image gallery, see Editing an Image above, or to a picture that is hosted on an image hosting website like Photobucket, etc). Or you can click Browse Server to see your folders. A new screen, the Resources Browser, will appear (see second image below).
Unless you are an admin of a community beyond your own profile, you will likely only have two folders: one with your name, and the guest folder (see image above). Click on the folder with your name to view all of the images inside your folder. If you have yet to upload any images, click Browse at the bottom of the screen. Locate your image, and click Open (see first image below) and then, back on the Resources Browser page, click Upload. The image will now appear in your folder (see second image below). Click on the image and you will be transferred back to the image properties page (see image below). Here you can add alternative text to your image. You can also change the width and height of your image. Clicking the padlock icon will turn off the keep image proportional function and let you edit either width or height separately. Clicking it again will keep the image proportional (i.e. changing width changes height too or vice versa and the image will not be stretched oddly). Most of the time, you will want to leave keep image proportional on. The circling arrow icon, next to the padlock icon, will reset the image to its original width and height. You can also type in a border amount and the horizontal or vertical space to let your image stand out from your text. Using the alignment drop-down, you can decide where the image will show up inside the blog. As you make changes to your image, you can see a preview in the preview screen. To save your image, click OK. If you've decided against this image, click Cancel.
How Do I Upload an Image to a Message Board? Uploading an Image to a Message BoardOnce you are inside a message board post (either editing one or creating one) (see {Message Board}), click the icon that looks like a brown frame with a picture of green mountains inside (see image below). Locate the URL of your image (either a URL to an image you've already uploaded onto your image gallery, see Editing an Image above, or to a picture that is hosted on an image hosting website like Photobucket, etc) and paste the URL in and click OK (see image below). A code like this will appear in your post: Alternatively, you could type the following into your post
