Campus Life & Athletics

Your Friends

It feels good to see familiar faces on campus and have friends to study and hang out with between classes.  And, if you’re looking to meet people from exotic places, BCC has over 180 international students from 41 countries.  Keep your old buddies and make new friends with students from Albania to Zaire!

Your Life

Seek balance.  Participate in clubs, activities, sports and events to fill the downtime between classes.  Attend lectures, concerts, and film screenings during “Common Hour,” speak your mind at a political forum, act in a play, work out at the gym, skate at the Ice Center, or just relax with a cup of cappuccino at the SA Café.

Your Teams

Are you a serious about athletics?  We are.  We have 8 men’s and 8 women’s varsity teams that compete throughout the Region II_-New York State as well as against teams from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Our women’s soccer team have been the National champions for the past two years, and have been honored by the National Soccer Hall of Fame.  Our intercollegiate athletics programs are supported by excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. Visit our athletics webpages.

Not a big fan sports fan but love a good workout?  As a BCC student, you’ll have free access to open gym time for shooting hoops, the weight room, the fitness center, and free skating at our impressive, on-campus ice center.
